I cannot say this makes me happy
this works for power cables 4 or 5 conductors

but for multi-cable it is not that suitable

so I went for some experimenting

with master and slave things
it is not ideal but can be a start for implementing something

the reference link is under the cable number (no idea why)

found:
has to do with the check box on the folio settings:

show one text per folio potential
when set of I can set all conductor numbers

I have chosen for the folio numbering to make it filled in rather than automatic
how to make now that the comming arrow and going arrow shows this information instead of the %f folio number?

how to link the conductors from a cable?

I try to add conductor numbers but sometime the check box can not be selected or the number does not appear on het drawing
what can be the problem?

my elements are indicated with %fQ1 (as example)  in the field label formula

if this element is on page 7 it will appear as 7Q1
now I have to insert a new page before page 7
because of autonum all page will move up one number to 8Q1 in this example

how to prevent this?

the tab heading moves under the  left-right arrows

when doing a zoom "fit in view" sometimes there is a empty space outside of the title block template

this can be on all sides
how to find what there?

I am using the latest version.
But the issue is solved.

As I only replaced the exe file with each new version
There was probably an error in the language files
Also copied the files now all is ok

and here:

picture attached

the language setting is english but in "configure Qelectrotech" Appearance
the last item is in French (see picture)

changing to any other language does not change this text

the sorting order of the conducturs is not saved
after having filled all the fields hose and conductor I closed the application
when reopening the order is not the same anumore

also the hose and conductor are not on the correct line for some of the terminals

Thanks for the information,  the help button was not visible because the window was to small
Also I was confused about the word "hose" which in  terms of wiring did not give me a clue
I saw the "cable" column and could not fill anything
now all is clear.

one possible bug:
I filled as you did for testing and it worked
I then closed the application and reopened for filling more information and noticed that the data in fields ID and XREF as example from lines 9 and 10 had been exchanged

any update when this functionality would come into QET itself?

ok thanks, that solves part of my problem
and now the cable numbering/identification, how to do this?

ok thanks, mistake corrected,
but that does not solve the issue
any hints how to solve

I managed to use the terminal block generator

the problem I have is that no cables appear  (will be not an issue of the generator, but my lack of knowledge)
the order of the terminals is not as expected

example:
on sheet 4
circuit breaker -9Q2     towards motor -9M1
what to change so that the cable between X1 and the motor -9M1 appears in the terminal block?

also the sequence of the terminals is X1:1,X1:2,X1:3,X1:PE,X1:SH,X1:4,X1:5,X1:6,X1:PE,X1:SH
how to arrange that this order appears in the terminal block?

can you help me on both issues?

I am now using V0.9 latest version and the message is still there.
Any suggestions?

the problem is that the existing element is still there and if you delete this all wires are also deleted

case:
I am using an element from the custom library
then I notice I need to update the element
how to replace now the element that is already in the schematic with the version from the library which I just have updated??
I can of course delete the element and put the new one, but then all wires are lost

At startup of QET I get a popup with repair files.
How to remove this?

can you make this working if both version are on hard drive??

the element editor is not displaying the parts

the message is "too much parts, list not rendered

I am using V0.8 version

Thanks for the information.
But I assumed someone already would have made these symbols ready to use.

Better upgrade a copy than trying to invent new stuff.

I want to make an electric-pneumatic diagramm in other words a combination of electric sensors, buttons, etc in combination with pneumatic valves and pistons.

The valves are electrically controlled
I was searching the libraries an could not find the desired element.

Like for a relais with contacts there exists an element where it is possible to make a cross-reference from the coil to the contacts.

Does the same exist for a pneumatic valve?
And what would be the name then of the elements?
