https://github.com/qelectrotech/qelectr … issues/261

FYI, following the many problems encountered recently, we decided to leave our host TuxFamily friends whom I had been with for almost 20 years, and to migrate qelectrotech.org to another host which will be at our expense.. ~150€/year...

We hope to restore all the infrastructure in a few days if all goes well, please wait.
Sorry about that!
Big thanks to Xavier he help me a lot for moving data to new host server.

Regards,
Laurent

services down
Posté le dimanche 9 juillet 2023, à 15:51 UTC

Today, around 11:37 UTC, we lost contact with some of our most important hosts, presumably following yet another power hiccup. Consequently, our main services (web areas, databases, SCM repositories, access to mailboxes, etc.) are down. Secondary services (MX2, NS2, etc.) are still up and running, along with download repositories. As this is being written, we cannot predict when exactly our services will recover and can only apologize for the significant downtime incurred. Please bear with us.

Bonjour,

Power hiccup
Posté le dimanche 2 juillet 2023, à 14:05 UTC

Today, around 05:39 UTC, we experienced a power hiccup (yeah, again…) that killed some hosts, unfortunately impacting all of our main services. Secondary services (MX2, NS2, etc.) are up. We are currently waiting for remote hands.

Power hiccup
Posté le dimanche 4 juin 2023, à 14:38 UTC

Yesterday, around 11:40 UTC, we experienced a power hiccup that killed some hosts. Impact was low and almost everything restarted properly. We managed to brought back most services a couple of hours ago. Unfortunately we just lost a big host storing most data for an unknown reason yet but probably related to disk arrays in bad shape after the power hiccup. We are currently waiting for remote hands.

Edit 2023-06-05 14:40 UTC: Alright, everything is back to normal!

Hi Ahsan,

you could see by example Japan translation GIT log:

Strange, I think you use a very old QET version?

https://github.com/qelectrotech/qelectr … /qet_zh.ts

simplified Chinese code is zh-cn

Mandarin (Simplified Chinese) isn't the same than zh-cn?
I say this because a translation work was already in progress...

Dear Stephan,

yes it's a big job that will take you a lot of time, you can get help.
Do not hesitate to send your progress on the translation, even if it is not
finished, I could add the necessary code in the program so that you can see
what it looks like in real life.

Have a nice day and best regards too,
Laurent

Oh you compile QET on Windows, you use mingw or vscode?

It's normal, Chinese switch not yet added in QET source code, you need to set LANG on .bat.

I openned qet_zh-cn.ts and after open qet_en.ts to see English translation, that can help you if you don't know French language.

is zh-cn iso code, if yes I added file qet_zh-cn.ts in sources file, ready to translate it?

Get GIT sources

git clone git://git.tuxfamily.org/gitroot/qet/qet.git qet_git

https://qelectrotech.org/wiki_new/doc/t … urce_files

How to update .ts files from source files?
Note: *.ts are generally updated by the developer when he considers that the character strings to be translated are viable or by translators.

Édit qelectrotech.pro file: Comment out the lines starting with TRANSLATIONS += :

sed -i 's/^TRANSLATIONS/#TRANSLATIONS/g' qelectrotech.pro

Run the following command:

lupdate -noobsolete qelectrotech.pro -ts lang/qet_{en,es,ru,pt,cs,pl,ca,de,ro,it,ar,sl,hr,el,nl,be,sl,zh,hu,pt_br,da,sr,fr,tr,sk,nb,mn,ja,cn,uk,zh-cn}.ts

Restore file qelectrotech.pro:

sed -i 's/^#TRANSLATIONS/TRANSLATIONS/g' qelectrotech.pro

Hello Ahsan,

you are welcome, what country you want to add?
