Download the QElectroTech AppImage and make it executable using your file manager or by entering the following commands in a terminal:
chmod +x ./*.AppImage
Then double-click the AppImage in the file manager to open it.
Some old developers pulled their hair out or even almost threw their printers away because it's so complicated depending on the operating system, the printer driver or the brand of printer, for respect margin used by printer dialog..
What is seen in the preview window is what will be printed and will not depend on the paper size, it will be the same if you want to print in A4 or A3 what you see on the screen will be represented as is whatever the sheet size.
Maybe your problem is on your title block dimensions, try to add rows, columm or change size?
Or send me a example here?
Hello Christoph,
maybe make a bridge in qet_tb_plugin sheet
see this topic https://qelectrotech.org/forum/viewtopi … 065#p17065
Hi Tiz,
In your case, that's what i will do, what do you think?

Étrange!, ici ça fonctionne.
What do you not want using a busBar like my this project? :

Hi Riesermauf,
thank you so much,
but you could also make a big thanks to Remi for packaging QElectroTech in Fedora, RHEL, CentOS, AlmaLinux, RockyLinux... and especially for his help and his many advices. ;-)
https://www.phoronix.com/news/Debian-12-First-Freeze
Next up in mid-February is the Debian 12 soft freeze where no new packages will be allowed and a delayed migration. One month after that in mid-March is the planned hard freeze.
The full freeze date for Debian 12 has yet to be determined.
Try checkbox print options in layout.
Until now QElectroTech team bundles were made under linux with OSX KVM for X86_64 Intel macOS. Obviously it takes a lot of work, knowledge, time consuming to make it.
I would like to buy the new mac mini M2 to make universal bundles for macOS (arch:amd64 & arm64), for that we are missing about 300€ on our Paypal to buy a 699€ the MAC Mini M2, are you ready to help us in this adventure?

I slightly improved my AMD Threadripper OSX/KVM and gained a lot of fluidity without going through the GPU passthrough...
Compiling QET on Monterey take ~34 s with CLANG 14 vs 32 s with GCC on my Linux host, is fine, but emulating an APPLE Silicon amr64 in QEMU is a hassle... and you lost 80 % off Host CPU for emulate it!, otherwise you have Rosetta2 which should work fine I think, without too much slowdown, if you have any feedback?
I'll leave that aside for a moment.
BTW,
For those who already have an M1 or M2 APPLE silicon, if you can test the build environment here:
it's need ~ 11 Go free on your disk and can take some many hours for building the build environment by arch.
https://qelectrotech.org/wiki_new/doc/m … t_new_2023
Or tell us how QET behaves with rosetta2 on an M1, M2..
Without a real MAC it is more difficult to improve the software under this OS...
Laurent
You have a printer and you can print, also printer is installed, no?
Like your screen -> project is open in diagram editor and printer icon is not grayed out.
What you see on screen is what you print on paper, no layout to configure here.
Pour copier un folio le mieux est de le faire avec les raccourcis clavier ctrl +A -> ctrl +C -> ctrl + T -> puis ctrl + V
Il faut bien sur comme le dit Achim décocher "Do not store the labels of items in the copy paste" dans la config.
