About your question:
In QElectro Tech there is the possibility to import image files
in the formats bmp,jpg,png and svg.
The existing PDF file must be converted into a graphic format for this.
This can be done by online converter or by software.
The following instructions will help you:
1. open the PDF in Microsoft Word, LibreOffice Draw or any PDF editor.
and mark and copy the desired part of the graphic. 2.
2. then open e.g. MS Paint and paste the copied graphic and save it in the desired format.
3. import the graphic into QElectroTech with Paste Image.
4. if the image is not the right size, you can adjust it with the function Right Click > Edit Image. 5.
5. with a right click on the empty slide the columns and rows can be adjusted
with the command Slide Properties.
6.Now you can draw over the inserted graphic and export the created document as DXF, PDF or SVG.
for exchange with other programs.

Zu deiner Frage:
In QElectro Tech besteht die Möglichkeit Bilddateien
in den Formaten bmp,jpg,png und svg einzufügen.
Die vorhandene PDF-Datei muss dazu in ein Grafikformat umgewandelt werden.
Das kann zu einem durch Online-Konverter erfolgen oder durch Software.
Dazu folgende Anleitung:

und den gewünschten Teil der Grafik markieren und kopieren.
2. Danach z.B. MS Paint öffnen und die kopierte Grafik einfügen und im gewünschten Format speichern.
3. In QElectroTech die Grafik mit Bild einfügen importieren.
4. Wen das Bild nicht passende Größe hat kann diese mit der Funktion Rechtsklick > Bild bearbeiten eingestellt werden.
5. Mit einem Rechtsklick auf die leere Folie können die Spalten und Zeilen angepasst werden
mit dem Befehl Folieneigenschaften.
6. Jetzt kann über die eingefügte Grafik gezeichnet werden und das erstellte Dokument als DXF,PDF oder SVG
exportiert werden für den Austausch mit anderen Programmen.

I have tried with included example projects to eleminate possible errors with my own created diagrams.
And that confused my a little because the examples should just work.

Ich habe jetzt auf 4 verschiedenen Rechnern mit AMD oder Intel CPU und GPU , Windows 10 und Linux Mint als OS,versucht
den Klemmengeneratur zu starten mit den stabilen Versionen und den Development Versionen.
Es lassen sich keine Klemmen generieren.

If I then double click on qet_tb_generator.exe I am faced with a larger box with the option to "create terminal blocks" as per 2nd error attachment, within the dos box shows an error as per attachment 3rd error. after closing and restarting I now receive errors as per attachments 1 & 2, then when clicking on create terminal blocks it pop up a box "Choose terminal blocks to generate" Accept. When I accept attachment 2 error still remains. Attachment 3 will also show my directory path.I guess I must be missing a step somewhere but dont understand where?

Ich habe den Klemmenplan Generator in das Verzeichnis C:\Users\RedBaron\Application Data\qet kopiert.

The terminal generator starts in V 0.8 Ready to Use after changing the language to English. The following windows are displayed: "Choose terminal Blocks to generate".

Rename to qet_tb_generator.exe and put it on your C:\Users\[username]\AppData\qet\For ReadyToUse user put qet_tb_generator.exe under ReadyToUse directory QET can launch it.
Tried with the Ready to Use Version of QElectroTech, no success.
The same happens with administrator rights, other user accounts and other computers.
Maybe a misconfigured Windows Installation?
Autodesk Inventor, Fusion 360 and SolidEdge run without problems.

Next problem: Windows Defender marks qet_tb_generator-1.1.7.exe as malware win32/blocker.

C:\Users\AppData\Local\Programs\Python\Python35\Lib\site-packages is installed. In this directory there is a ReadMe file with the following content:
This directory exists so that 3rd party packages can be installed
