Topic: MacOS Schaltplan sieht in Windows anders aus

habe in MacOS meine ganzen Schaltpläne erstellt.

Hallo FabiaDarkblue,

versuch es mal hier:

Einstellungen -> Programmeinstellungen -> Texte

@FabiaDarkblue

@FabiaDarkblue

@FabiaDarkBlue

@FabiaDarkblue

@Alex90: you could share your project to try it on my Debian or in my mini M2?
With my project attached to this post https://qelectrotech.org/forum/viewtopi … 309#p18309 project i make on Linux, I don't saw big change on Apple M2 with arm64 package..

I still have not found a workaround for this ... could anybody confirm this behavior?

Same fonts?

yes, it is the same file, opened with either macos or manjaro linux

Re: MacOS Schaltplan sieht in Windows anders aus

Hmm, same font...but metric of the font size isn't the same...

Re: MacOS Schaltplan sieht in Windows anders aus

Thank you for testing, so atleast, it's not only for me.

I also tested with Arial, to exclude a faulty font -> same bug!

Re: MacOS Schaltplan sieht in Windows anders aus

I remember that Nuri had spoken about it in one of his messages,
he said to use a font which had the same metric as much on Linux as on Windows,
will have to find this post....

sudo apt install fonts-croscore

.

gg translate
When I use Arial directly under Linux, I don't know why but QET puts me all the texts in Arial Bold nomicons/pinch .
I couldn't find where it came from, no idea...

On the other hand, when I deliver a *.qet file to my customers under Windows, I replace "Arimo" by "Arial" with XML Copy Editor.

What interests me is that we can use a font that has the same rendering under all OS to avoid shifts and encroachments that are disgusting and that make certain texts unreadable.
Ideally, QET would ship a small set of free fonts with it and be able to deploy them independently of the OS.
Let's say a few dozen fonts, that should be more than enough.

And for those who need more, they are allowed to override using the fonts installed in the OS in question, as currently with the font options implemented by Laurent.
