Hi There-

I think this is related to this function but I'm not sure.

I am wanting to give each wire a unique number.  What I find is wires downstream of say a terminal block inherit the upstream wire number or vice versa.

Is there a way to globally disable this feature or is there some sort of work around I'm not seeing.

Thank you so much!

Matt

Got it thank you!

Ahh I see it is passing through a terminal block. Got it

Hi There-

So I'm going through pasting in wires and they are incrementing fine and then all of a sudden it repeats the last conductor number. Is there anything that can cause that?

Thanks!
Matt

Hi There-

I did exactly that and it works correctly except the plugin.  Perhaps it's a python thing?  I can of course type in the TYPE field and it works, I just don't know what all the options are.  Is that documented anywhere?

Thanks!
Matt

Hi There-

What are the TYPES available for that field in the terminal block generator.  With my trackpad on my Mac I cannot get a windows right click to work.

THanks!
Matt

Thanks for the reply!

Is there a preference or function thought that will auto rotate text in a element when you rotate it in the folio?  I have to go edit the element and manually rotate the text.

Thanks!
Matt

Hi There-

Is there a method of rotating elements in the Element editor?

Thanks
Matt

Got it working thanks!

Actually think I got it working...Still working

Hi There-

I launched the terminal block generator after following the video tutorial.  In the help section of the plugin it says after pushing the CREATE TERMINAL BLOCKS, it refers to a pop up window to select the terminal blocks which I'm not seeing.

Youtube video attached.  What am I missing here?

Hi There!

I would like to make a request please of an updated Terminal Block Creator tutorial in Youtube but in English with the program running in English.  Narration would be great as well.

Thank you!!!

Matt

Hello!

I did open the project and still have no luck launching the plugin.  I think python might be over my head :-).

Matt

Hi There.  With no audio and the program interface in French the video was difficult for me to understand what is going on.  I did create a project and tried launching it from the interface.  I will keep tinkering with it.

Thank you
Matt

Hi Scorpio-

Firstly, thank you so much for your help!!!

While I do have a good bit of programming experience, I have zero experience with Python.  My apologies for the newbie questions.

When I enter the command line:  python3.8 /Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/3.8/bin/qet_tb_generator

It launches the python interface and is looking for a .qet file, but when I do a search I don't see that file on my Mac.

Thanks
Matt

Hi Guys-

Total newbie here so I'm sure I'm doing something wrong here, but after running the install and going to Project>>Launch the Terminal Block Plugin it simply brings up the splash screen again.  Is there something I'm doing wrong?  Screen shots attached.

Thanks!
Matt

Hi There-

No this is on my MacBook Pro with no external monitor.  Note this only does it with some symbols not all of them.

Matt

Here is the image of the symbol when placed in the drawing

Hi There.  Attachments hopefully work this time

Hi There-

I am brand new to ElectroTech so perhaps it is something I am doing wrong, but it appears that some symbols when you place them are missing parts of their graphics elements, mostly black lines.   When you look at it in the symbol editor, it is fine, but when it is dropped onto the sheet it is missing some bars.  Examples attached.

Thanks!
Matt
