Topic: 0.60-RC2 for Windows and 4K display
Hi.
How could I get v. 0.60-RC2 for Windows 10 to size properly on 4k display?
Menu labels are overlapping and font size are too small.

Andrea

Currently working well on a 27" 2560x1440 monitor. On a 28" monitor, full 4k, it works quite nicely for me... Win 10... with the exception that ALL fonts/text/icons are really small on such a monitor. That is not something from QET, rather something from the OS not taking into account pixel pitch. I use the latest QET nightly build. Even on my laptop 2880x... works just fine.
Except the regular Win10 resize from the full 4k to the 2560, nothing changes in QET when moving the window from one screen to another - all proportions stay the same.
Latest release (0.7 dev ?) works fine for me too.
Perfect!
Regards,
Andrea
Still some graphic issues while moving schematics from fullHD monitor to 4K monitor: elements with multiple contacts do not resize properly and lose their own conductors.

With latest 0.7-dev or with 0.60-rc2 packages?
Because of my Ryzen segfault in heavy workload/compilations 0.60-rc2 windows packages is builded with Qt 5.8, now I use a workaround for fix it and wait AMD answer for RMA it.
0.7-dev packages is builded by latest Qt 5.9.1 libs.
With latest 0.7-dev.

OK. Build a 0.7.1-test version with EnableHighDPIScaling for Windows systems and I will test it for you.
Build and change style to fusion :
https://download.qelectrotech.org/qet/f … rotech.exe
EnableHighDPIScaling for Windows
https://download.qelectrotech.org/qet/f … able_hdpi/
Problem with EnableHighDPIScaling :

https://qelectrotech.org/forum/viewtopi … 6591#p6591
https://qelectrotech.org/forum/viewtopi … 6943#p6943
Same issue.
Wait a little (5 mn) when upload is finished and test 0.60-rc2 build with Qt 5.9.1 :
https://download.qelectrotech.org/qet/f … /0.60-rc2/
No progress.
You saw no changes with build 0.7 with EnableHighDPIScaling / build 0.6-rc2 AA_DisableHighDpiScaling with Qt 5.9.1 ?
https://www.tekrevue.com/tip/windows-10 … y-scaling/
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/hel … pi-devices
Updating to the new Nvidia Quadro driver 385.08 both versions (0.7-dev & 0.6rc2 + Qt 5.9.1) work fine.
What about let the user to set UI fonts & icons size (x1.5 x2 x2.5 ...)?
Nice !
But is very strange you don't see no changes with build with AA_EnableHighDPIScaling and AA_DisableHighDpiScaling..
