Topic: Verbindungen innerhalb eines Bauteils

Hallo zusammen!

So meine Idealvorstellung!

Hello scorpio810,

so let me try in english, because my french is very bad!

Many of the PLC-Modules from that manufacturer are a mixture
between "Simple" Elements and "Terminal Blocks".

What I am trying to achieve is a sort of element that combines
some properties of "simple" and "terminal-block". During creation
of an element I want to say: "The four connectors named 0V are a
terminal-block and these named 24V are another terminal-block and
the rest of the connectors are simple."

So when I use the element all lines connected to e.g. "0V" are
automatically named with the right potential when I connect a
"0V"-Wire.

Hope this makes it clearer...

Greetings

Re: Verbindungen innerhalb eines Bauteils

Thank you for your answer in English.

In principle the wires retain their potentials when they are connected to the same terminals.
Otherwise, I may proceed differently by drawing several overlapping modules with different properties.

I can not put more examples, but these screenshots can give you ideas. Ps, I removed company tittleblock in this confidential screenshots authors not want I provide these projects..

Re: Verbindungen innerhalb eines Bauteils

Hello scorpio810,

In principle the wires retain their potentials when they are connected to the same terminals.

I see that too, when we are talking about ONE terminal of an element.
But like in the screenshot above we have four terminals with the same potential "0V", four terrminals with "24V" and four terminals with "PE".
When I connect a wire with potential "0V" to the first terminal I have to edit three of four wires (connected to the other three terminals "0V") to have the same potential as the first.
That would be different, if I could "group" terminals during creation of an element.

...drawing several overlapping modules with different properties.

Do you mean to create one element per potential (0V, 24V, PE and x outputs) and then add these e.g. four elements to the folio?
I tried that but when some elements overlap in the folio I can only connect wires to the uppermost element, because the terminals of the elements below are covered.

Re: Verbindungen innerhalb eines Bauteils

Hey nomicons/smile
Sorry my french and englisch is not the best....

Hello everybody!

@a.funke:

@scorpio810:
I don't know how complex it would be for the QET-Programmers, to create
the possibility inside an element to group terminals to achieve one or
more "terminal-blocks" inside an element.

BTW:
It is not only PLC-Modules that are equipped with double terminals:
Just think of relay-modules or optocouplers that offer the possibility
to connect wires and place Jumpers to interconnect the modules...

Re: Verbindungen innerhalb eines Bauteils

@plc-user

@all:
I already created about 250 modules that I also want to provide to
the community, but I want to wait for scorpio's answer if it may be
possible to have "mixed" elements to make the modules even better!

@Plc-user,

Properties for PLC modules are planned, but we have not yet studied or established specifications.
Joshua, the main developer want create new terminal function and terminal block generator before.

Re: Verbindungen innerhalb eines Bauteils

Hello everybody,

@scorpio:
Looking forward to seeing QET making progress!

In the attachment I put a few of my created elements as sort of a
"preview". Is there someone who can review the elements so that I
can improve them, if necessary? Please give feedback!
When you look at the elements you will see that the "combined"
elements I am asking for would behelpful when creating a new
schematic with such modules...

Do you discuss specifications for new features in public reachable
forums (and in languages besides french)?

@Andreas:

Yes possible, you need to add internal conductors above the drawing. And the only way to backup it is keep in project sample.

Hello Scorpio,

thank you for the idea to this (let me say) "workaround"!

I wouldn't want to call it "solution", because this way the creator
and the user of an element would need double-inventory: Once for
the original element and another one for the sample qet-project!
Just think about the great amount of elements/modules only the
mentioned manufacturer offers: Several hundreds!
I don't think this procedure is very practical for everyday use ...
The task to create usable elements should stay with the creator
and not with the user!

Re: Verbindungen innerhalb eines Bauteils

I only have this workaround in mind for now, sorry.
I don't know, but in a future we maybe can have possibility to add internal conductor in element, for now I think is very compilcated addon.
We are a little team and only work on our free time at home after work on QET...and owr jobs is very exhausting dependy on days ...

Cheers,

Re: Verbindungen innerhalb eines Bauteils

Hallo alle Zusammen nomicons/smile

@plcuser

Hello everybody,

@Andreas:
Was meinst Du mit 2D-Modelle?
WAGO-Modulen Grafiken in anderen Formaten nutze...

is new Wago elements?
I can add these in collection?

Re: Verbindungen innerhalb eines Bauteils

Salut Laurent,

please be a little patient!

I would like to add some more modules before we should
add them all together to the collection!

As mentioned before I created many elements for use in
schematics and they should be separated from the ones
created for construction diagrams. As you may have seen:
"My" elements are a bit different from those already
available in QET...

Additionally I would want to pack a package with a meaningful
directory-structure.

So please wait a bit - I'll send a Package! Promised! nomicons/smile
