Dear QET users ,
we are pleased to announce that after many efforts and thanks a lot to the help and efforts of Max, you will have QET snap packages weekly autobuilded on snapcraft.io.

We had to trick and synchronize whole sections of SVN towards Github and learn to use Travis for synced SVN to Github.
The Snap package of QET is complete and contain also Raul qet_tb_generator and Ronny DXF converter.

I let Max add more technical informations that can appeal to advanced QET users.
We have also added the Fernando Documentation on Github, it will be easier for external contributors to participate in its improvement and its translation.

oui, je pense que remonter les erreurs sur le Github serait en effet le meilleur moyen de centraliser les problemes et améliorer la documentation ainsi que ses traductions.

We are studying a way to generate autobuild snap when SVN trunk change.
1) We have exporter the trunk into a git-mirror on GIthub https://github.com/qelectrotech/qelectrotech-git-mirror
2) We studying a way to synced GIT repository based on SVN trunk, perhaps based on LXD container.
3) FYI I started to put qelectrotech-git-mirror on Travis , for automated deployment : https://docs.travis-ci.com/user/for-beginners/

Julio, I will see to synced Fernando work on Subversion documentation branch.
Is dificult for Fernando to commit changes on Subversion because is on MS Windows.
Edit: you can now, I can't merged files, because a lot of changes, also I prefer to delete all and added news source folder, build folder isn't useful on Subversion, I think.

Je sais sur Windows ça risque d’être compliqué mais WSL 2 devrait faciliter l'approche quand redmon sera prêt, alors que c'est un jeu d'enfant pour un utilisateur Linux aguerri dans une distro Linux, hein Galexis.

qet_tb_generator in snap package works, but if you launch by QET menu -> project, save your project before launching plug-in, if not qet_tb_generator not launching.
For DXF converter plug-in is also added on the snap qelectrotech.

Is possible snap use QET $HOME config stored in $HOME/.config/QElectroTech/QElectroTech.conf ?
For titleblocks and user elements user can change directory in setting.
Edit : because snap is confined users could put their elements and config in ~/snap/qelectrotech/2/

Because is very dificult to use uscan directly on PyPI when you want to make update Debian package, Debian store PyPI packages here :

The PyPI site is hard to work with directly as it includes md5sums for the downloads in the URLs which makes for truly horrible regexps. The pypi.debian.net redirector makes it much easier to work with PyPI:
