Topic: How to define own master slave

Hi!
I want to make a VFD divided into control and power part and set dependency between them (xref).
How can I do it?
I try mark control as coil and power as slave-contact, but after placing it and linking at main diagram, there is no cross near master part.

If I place built-in coil and contacts, cross appears.

Re: How to define own master slave

You mean the table with clickable cross-references?  That is inserted automatically as part of the designator text.  You need to include a dynamic text item with the source "Element information" - "Annotation".

I attached image to clarify but I don't see it in preview,

Re: How to define own master slave

@jarek,

your element missing xrefs not be a slave element?
You forgot to change its simple type property to slave element?

Re: How to define own master slave

If the slave-element is defined to have "switch state" defined as "other" then there is no reference shown with the master!

Re: How to define own master slave

Consider integrating a dynamic text item within the source "Element information" - "Annotation" to ensure the insertion of the table with clickable cross-references. Ensure that the properties of the control and power parts are appropriately configured, including setting the simple type property to slave element for the power part.
