Topic: Wire numbering

Hello, all! I'm a new user of QElectroTech and I have a question about wire numbering. I need such wire numbering as: Plant.number (the formula is %M.%sequ_1), but "Plant" is always empty... So, number look like ".2", for example. But I need "KM1.2". Can anybody help me, please?

Hi mate, you may need to create a custom format that includes both "plant" and the sequential number. Make sure to watch the naming configuration, there may be a mistake. Double check your data input it may not be assigned properly.

Hello! I understand my bug. It works, but not way I wanted. I wants wire number consists of name of element and wire number. For example, wires from contactor KM1 are KM1.1; KM1.2; KM1.3. In this way I always can understand what is the wire without scheme. But autonumbering like this is impossible unfortunately.

And now I have one more question. Does the cable function work or not? I want to join several wires into one cable, as in the video from this forum (QET version is 0.5 or 0.6), but I can't do it.

And one more problem... I cannot start qet_tb_generator... I setup it like in manual, but it starts with error and doesn't see any terminal. May be it because of Win10x64?

Cable function is not ready yet.
