Hello and thanks for the reply. This is the version and it seems to be dxftoqet: DXF to QET ELMT converter V3.0 use SQlite. All goes well until I try to save to element file and then I get the error message that the directory is Read-only file system

Hello. I am using a MacBook with a M! chip. If I use dxftoelmt it loads the dxf file but when I try to convert to element I get an error message stating the the directory is Read Only. I have checked and the directory is Read / Write. I have moved the dxftoelemt file to another directory including the same directory as qelectrotech but I still get the same result.
I have tried to use dxf2elmt but this loads and displays a message cannot find cfg. file. once the interface opens the program freezes.
Any suggestions on how to overcome this?

Thank you for the reply. I have managed to do that. I have attached the text boxes that I am referring to. Would I have to access the Custom field for each folio and change the custom text? Is there anyway of doing this directly from the title block and typing in the required text.

Is there any way of creating a text box in the title block that is a variable which the user can select and change. For example if the revision changed due to additional switchgear how would the user update the description field. I was thinking of a _ similar to the elements place marker which when double clicked on the text would be editable.

I have a coupe of queries regarding the use of QElectro Tech:
If I have changed a folio template and saved it, how do I set it to use this template for a new project.
I have created wiring numbers for 230V, 400V etc but these are not seen if a new project is loaded. Do I have to re-create these for every project.
I have created a new field for a folio, namely Rev: and have tried %{indexrev}, %rev, %revindex etc but none of these work on the sheet to display the revision of the drawing. Any suggestions?
