This is quite a challenge for me to understand what is explained in french in the video...

Uff, the post you mention has 9 pages, and i don't find the information i am looking for there. Anyone having a hint where to look?

When i try to edit "Element Property" of a "Terminal block" i have no possibility to edit the "Informations"-tab, resulting that i must enter the terminal blocks articlenumber every time i insert the block. Does anyone have a workaround or a solution here?

Hello,

Many many thanks from Norway to all those of you supporting QElectrotec, you are doing a very good and valuable job!

QElectroTech can now import dxf file in the element editor by using dxf2elmt software. For that go to file menu -> importer un dxf.
dxf2elmt must downloaded by user and present in a specific folder, if it's not the case when user try to import a dxf a dialog is opened with a little how to instruction (actually in french).

Where is the "specific folder" in a Win-installation? I tried the \bin subdirectory in the ReadyToUse-installation without success. The video shows only the Linux-folder...

Under "element property" there are several "base type" selectable. Where are the properties of these base types described / where do i find documentation on them?
And for these base types we find different sub-types / properties (ex. "Terminal block-->Generic/Fuse/Sectionable/Diode/Ground) Where do i find their description / documentation?
Does anyone know?

Hi there,
Morganol`s idea looks like a promising workaround, i will follow this up....
Thanks a lot to both Laurent and Morganol!

Hi Laurent,
there i only can insert fast URLs. If i have several links in one QElectroTech-project it would be fine to compose the URLs from a fixed part and a variabel part (i. e. from a project-property-variable). In that way i only have to change at one place in the project if the link was moved.
Is there a way to acheive this?

QElectroTech (v.07) offers the possibility to declare userdefined project properties (dialog "Project->Project Properties, register "General"). Those can so be found in the .qet-file in the <properties>-area.

Is it possible to use these properties in textfields placed on several (but not all) folios?

Or - even better - is it possible to use them in the [Insert link]-function in the "Advanced Editor" for textfields?
The goal is to implement either a textual link or a hyperlink to some files outside QElectroTech.

Hi Joshua,
that solved my "problems", thank you very much.
And more thanks to you replying me in english(;-)))

Hi Stebo,

there are remaining to things to be solved:
1) How do i get a reference to 3 power contacts if i insert one triple-powercontact?
2) Where do i find the description for using the reference-feature?

Hi Stebo,

thanks for your reply.
That works for auxiliary contacts, but not for power contacts.
I want the same representation for power contacts at the coil as for auxiliary contacts, an there should be shown if there are more than one (e.g. three) power contacts as "slave".

In element editor selecting "Edit->Element Property" with <type of switch = Power switch"> does not generate a cross reference at the coil, but with <type of switch = "simple"> i get one (1) cross reference, although <Switch number represented = "3"> is selected.
I expected that power contacts ("power switch") would be represented in the same way as auxiliary contacts ("simple").
Again, is there a description available how to use cross referencing between coils and contacts?

Is it possible to get a cross-reference between a coil and its power-contacts (the same way auxiliary NO-contacts are represented)? If so, is there som documentation how to create/use this feature?
