Topic: inserting a picture

Hello,
if I insert a picture in Qelectrotech which is 1.7Mb in size and save the project or save it as a PDF, the file size is 14Mb. Is there a way to change the file size without degrading the quality of the original?

No, there is no way to reduce the size of the file.
This is due of the format in which the image is saved in the *.qet file.

Change image resolution before inserting in project, image on A4 format for printing or for PDF export don't need high resolution.
Because image stored in base64 format in the XML increase QET project.
