Topic: Load time from elements is very slow 0.70.r5454

Hello all,

the load time from library is very slow, i think since last update.
Load time befor: ~5 seconds
Load time now: ~ 3 minutes
for 47430 elements.

What i try is to change path from default to real path, unimproved.
When i remove my library, elements list from qet have only 5739.
Load time:  ~ 10 seconds.

In past i have copied the complete qet library for me and changed some elements and create some new elements.
Where comes the difference between 47430 to 5739 elements?
I believe that always so much elements to load in the past, but i don't know that the qet elements library are so small.
I have only create ~50 new elements.
And i have not noticed anything from a reduction.

What's going wrong?

Hi,

I saw the same thing on macOS bundle since Revision: 5452.. 3 or 5 minutes load time at each launch.
I disabled this feature on this OS for the moment :

You could compare with previous Appimage version .

Revert r5449 and disable r5452 momentary : Load time from elements is
very slow

We need more time to solve this very slow loading problem (summer, holidays, etc).

Hello scorpio,

load time appimage: ~20 seconds
load time 5454: ~185 seconds
load time 5461: ~18 seconds

Much better, thank you.

But one thing is very strange, on first both starts from 5461, elements only starts load when im click somewhere in the qet window.
Now it load everytime i open qet.
Maybe it will help to find the problem?
