Topic: Impossible to select region if something is at the backgrownd

It is better to understand from video. I can not select group of objects if something bigger is on the backgrownd.

you would select element by element with "control" key, for me is much better than selecting an area.

that's not the point. I have the same problem as shestipal when I'm drawing mounting plates.
If several elements are on another, you can not select the ones who are in the background.
The problem is not selecting (with area or click by click with ctrl) but a layer problem.
As we already know, QET saves the layer (background or foreground) of elements randomly.
Sometimes, it would be convenient to have a tool to place elements in the right layer, like in the lement editor.
