Topic: Assigning / Cross Referencing Coils and contacts

I have just started using this software and I am very impressed. 
I have learnt a lot via You Tube and the English manual.
However try as i may I can not work out how to assign contacts to coils, and how to get the cross referencing to appear.
I have seen this completed on a You Tube clip, but still cannot work out how to complete the task.
I have installed version 0.4 on a windows 7 machine.
