Topic: Cross‑folio reference arrows change wire number after saving project

Hello everyone,
I have an issue with cross‑folio reference arrows (go‑to / come‑from arrows) in QElectroTech.
On folio 1, conductors are numbered 510, 511, 512 with outgoing reference arrows.
On folio 2, the corresponding incoming reference arrows should keep the same wire numbers 510, 511, 512.
But as soon as I save the project, the numbers on folio‑2 reference arrows automatically change to 610, 611, 612. The electrical potential is the same across two folios.
I tried manually editing the conductor label on the second‑page arrow, and unchecked "apply properties to all conductors of this potential". After saving and re‑opening the project, the numbers get modified again.
Is this caused by the setting one text per folio potential in folio properties?
When this option is checked, does QET assign independent wire numbers for the same potential on every single folio?
What is the correct setting to keep identical wire numbers for same potential across different folios?
Thank you.

I cannot confirm that behaviour here.
Did you perhaps accidentally create a numbering rule that is affecting this behaviour?

I' think you use formula %F/%f in your folio reports for your conductors, no?

Re: Cross‑folio reference arrows change wire number after saving project

I want my conductor label format to be folio number + sequential number.
I have tried these formulas:
%F%Seqt_1 and %id%Seqt_1.
On the same folio everything works fine.
But for cross‑folio references: when the same electrical potential goes to another folio, the folio‑number part of the wire label automatically changes to match the destination folio’s number.
For example:
On folio 5 I get wire label 5‑1, this potential jumps to folio 6.
The cross‑folio reference arrow on folio 6 becomes 6‑1, while I expect it to keep 5‑1 for this same potential across the whole project.
My requirement:
✅ For a given potential that crosses to other folios, the wire label must retain its original folio‑plus‑sequence number from its source folio, must not adopt the destination folio number.
Is there a formula or configuration to achieve this?
Thanks for any suggestions.

Please search here don't use %F or %F for report folio on conductors....

Please see this PR https://github.com/qelectrotech/qelectr … r/pull/702 and why I refuse it.
