Topic: Terminal with 2 different wire names

Hi, I’m trying to create a terminal block strip with two different wire labels, but I’m having trouble doing so. Could anyone please help me with this?

Re: Terminal with 2 different wire names

Hello, you cannot connect different wires names in the same terminal. We prioritise equipotentiality across all wires with the same potential. If you do not want this, you will need to cheat by adding a simple, non-terminal property element.

Re: Terminal with 2 different wire names

Hi,

I was able to name the 2 wires differently connected to the same terminal while keeping the terminal property element.

Here are the steps:

1. first click on your folio properties and make sure "one text per folio potential" is unclicked.
2. once you see the conductor name appear on both sides of the terminal, rename the one which you want to appear differently and before clicking OK uncheck "apply properties to all conductors of this potential".

Yes it's a workaround.
