Good day.

Hi,
you can delete it yourself by Windows explorer, see PATH in the dialog box.
The file has already been deleted. The dialog box appears constantly. Is it possible that Qelectrotech is storing crash information?
Sorry, is stalesfile file to delete,
manual delete files on C:\Users\Dmitriy\AppData\Local\stalefiles\QElectroTech\
Super, everything worked out.
Thanks.
today I had a crash on the application
it took me about half hour to find where to delete this old file
the folder "stalefiles" is difficult to remember
is it not possible to add this folder in the message popup?
or else to add a second question if the user does not want to reopen then to delete this file
Did you ever look in your Log-files?
"Menu" -> "Help" -> "About QElectroTech" -> Tab "Log"
There you'll find something like this:
14:06:08.447 Info: For QET configuration-files:
14:06:08.447 Info: App Config Location: "/home/ich/.config/QElectroTech/QElectroTech"
14:06:08.447 Info: For data-files (user-/company-collections, titleblocks, etc.):
14:06:08.447 Info: App Data Location: "/home/ich/.local/share/QElectroTech/QElectroTech"
14:06:08.447 Info: Directory for project stalefiles:
14:06:08.447 Info: Generic Data Location: "/home/ich/.local/share/stalefiles/QElectroTech/"
Depending on your system It may be another directory, but the entry in log-file starts also with "Generic Data Location:"!
no I never looked in this log
and also "stalefiles" is not giving me any clue that this is where I can find the restore file
in terms of Windows this is no information
Stalefiles are automatic Backup-files during runtime of QET.
Why do you want to delete the stalefile by hand? Maybe an "old" QET-Version?
see this post:
https://qelectrotech.org/forum/viewtopi … 869#p20869
In both cases the stalefiles are handled by QET:
When I press "Cancel" the files are deleted instantly and when I click "OK" the backup-files are used by QET and deleted, when closed.
