Have you tried on other machine?
Please try with last 0.100-devel version, and saw log file in help menu -> About QElECtroTech, -> tab logs.

the program behaved exactly the same as on the Windows computer
I will try the 0.100-devel version and watch the logfile

Please try also 0.100-devel arm64 "package for Apple Siicon" on your MacBook, not the package x86_64 for macOS intel.

Download arm64 Apple silicon only with Safari, other programs break some thing in the notharization stamp:
