Topic: Element information text alignment

Hi

Just using the element editor to create different elements. When adding dynamic text fields they are all showing as centred text?

I have tried all configurations of the text alignment option but it doesn't change the outcome - the dynamic text is always centred.

This characteristic also occurs in the main drawing environment and not just the element editor.

Have you tried using the angle property of the dynamic text fields to set the angle of every text of element? You can also use the rotation property to rotate the text with or without the element.

Hi Dallasdycus

Yes the angle/rotation property works fine. It's only the text alignment that doesn't seem to work. Everything is centred not matter what the alignment setting is if the field size is greater than 0.

Setting the field size to 0 is a work around for left alignment however text wrapping is immediate after each word so can look messy if it's not a simple single word.

If you want to align right though and direct text to the left of your element for example, you don't seem to be able to?
