Topic: ( please move this to Documentation forum?)

[[[  please move to Documentation forum, or delete  ]]]

I neglected to find the Documentation sub-forum prior to posting this.

If anyone can conveniently do so, please either move this discussion to the Documentation forum, or delete it

Thank you.

Hello all, and especially a warm greeting to the Qelectrotech Team!

I am happy to be here and I hope to contribute to this magnificent effort.
I've only recently begun to learn Qelectrotech.

I have 30 years experience with AutoCAD (applied specifically to creation of electrical and especially control-system drawings), and some experience with AutoCAD Electrical.

The art of expressing design intent through electrical schematic and instrumentation diagrams is an area of personal focus for me since my early teen years, and spanning years of automation design work.

I have also experience as a technical writer (in the automation and electrical controls industry).

Monetary donations I understand of course.

I would also humbly offer my efforts at adding to the English-language documentation effort for QeT.  I would hope to help many others learn and use Qelectrotech to help grow the QeT community.

(edited to add: in addition to monetary donation!)

As I am presently learning Qelectrotech and so creating my own user-notes, I have that "still learning" perspective and mindset.

If my QeT notes as they eventually develop may help another new user, I would be humbled by the opportunity to make that small contribution.

Can anyone offer guidance in this regard?

Thank you for you time and attention.
lowVoltage

Re: ( please move this to Documentation forum?)

My French language skills?

When a man speaks several languages, we say he is "multi-lingual", yes?
If he speaks two languages, we say he is "bi-lingual".

If he speaks only one language, he is.......... an American.

I regret I can possibly be of service in this regard only for English-speakers.
Perhaps if I am able to add any value to the existing body of QeT documentation, others may be motivated to translate that content into additional languages.

Hi LowVoltage you could help Fernando to write documentation

@scorpio810,

Thank you for this helpful response.

And now I realize..
I lack knowledge of the protocols used on github to maintain this body of documentation. (I do have git installed however)

Before I can have the possibility to offer such a contribution, I must first gain some education in this area.
I will endeavor to do so.
