It appears that the 0.7 version is Snap.

Yes! My elements from 0.5 are in the ~/.qet directory!

Is it a simple matter of copying the .elmt files from one place to another?  Or, do the files need to be converted from one version to another?

Thank you!

Hello,

So I've been using the 0.5 version for some time, it's been freezing up on my Ubuntu 16.04 LTS computer.

After having this happen several times within a minute, I decided to see if there was a newer version.

Sure enough, the stable version 0.7 was available.  I used the Software Installation tool in Ubuntu to install it.

I launched the program.. and to my surprise, none of my user elements exist!

I need some instruction, or, point me to a link, on how to bring my 0.5 elements over to the 0.7 installation.

Thank you in advance for your insight,

Thank you.  I was able to add columns and rows to get the results I desired.

So, the drawing and the entities a scaled..

So I just need to drag the entities and make them smaller so they fit in the space provided?

Thanks for the information.

Hello,

Maybe I don't correctly understand how Qelectrotech works.  If that's the case, someone can correct me.

I'm working to create a schematic diagram and I have found that I don't have enough space on a single (default) sheet to fit one of my basic combinations (a PLC with selectable modules).

The default and other options for the sheets (folio) seems to be locked at A4 / Letter.

I would like to enlarge the sheet size to 'B' / Tabloid (11x17).

I can not seem to be able to find where I make this change, or how to create a user template that would support 11x17 sheet size.

Can someone out there give me some pointers?  Or, direct me to an existing sheet library?

Thank you in advance for your time,
