| Description | With Qelectrotech V05 QT5 on Mageia 6 (depots mageia) I had downloaded here:https://qelectrotech.org/showcategory.php the zipped Elements directories: collection_officielle moderation all_comers and unzipped in .qet / elements The attempt to insert one of these items in qelectrotech, blocks all! see description below. Erasure of the directory .qet is not enough to restore, you must also reboot and I had to do it twice in order to work again with qelectrotech. I started the experience again and the crash happened again. So it seems to be a problem in qelectrotech! | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | 1.Start Mga6 2.Start QET ( from depots MGA ou From QET , its same problem) 3.open a new or existig document 4 I try to modify it ( select parts , insert components....) QET launches successfully and displays everything normally. If I open an existing file it is displayed correctly with the various tabs but it is impossible to change or select nothing in the diagrams. It is also impossible to insert a component. We can still correctly close the file and reopen it. I tried to urpme this soft and reinstall it but the problème is still here. I tried to launch from terminal : => [root@localhost lajoiejp]# qelectrotech libpng warning: iCCP: known incorrect sRGB profile libpng warning: iCCP: too many profiles libpng warning: iCCP: too many profiles libpng warning: iCCP: too many profiles org.kde.knotifications: env says KDE is running but SNI unavailable -- check KDE_FULL_SESSION and XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP transaction began for "common" transaction commited for "common" transaction began for "custom" transaction commited for "custom" By this way qelectrotech launches and works properly. it don't seems to be a Mageia packaging problem.the bug seems linked with elements in .qet ? but sometimes its works correctly and sometimes it crashes ... for the moment, I do not find exactly when the soft blocks. I noticed the absence of the icons to open / close / minimize the window when qelectrotech come unresponsive. |

0.5 version need lot of RAM memory. You could test latest nightly 0.51 devel in other distribution, like Debian, Ubuntu, Fedora? At my work, I have to very many elements and run fine in my Debian, you are the first user requesting this problem. |

I was looking for more components and i see that some where in the zip file from QET. I am on Mageia, i know that it was working right on mageia5 I am testing mageia6 and before qelectrotech was ok but now i see a bug . please check at https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=18625 the bugzilla for mageia where i also post. The problem is more explained. TKS |

this is copy from my last post in mageia bugzilla : Exact the most important problem (selection, insertion of elements, schematics changes impossible) is linked to Caudron. In fact I was under kde5, workspace appearance / Oxygen. I changed to kde5, workspace appearance / Mageia and there, oh miracle! qelectrotech operates again normally. By cons I have found nothing to restore proper management of the opening, closing or reduction of the main window (missing icons) |

and the window gestion problem was simply due to the option "full screen " activated . Now everything is correct. |
