| Description | When trying to create a new part for the user library, the wizzard appears but after finishing the wizzard, nothing happens. Expecially, no new part in the library gets created. macOS, QElectroTech V 0.90-DEV r71297a0e4 This seems to be a regression bug because I did already create parts in earlier versions. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | 1. Open QElectrotech, with or without a project 2. Right click on the user library, select create new part. The wizzard opens. 3. Enter filename and translated part name 4. Close the wizzard in the last step by clicking the "Done" button. 5. Wizzard closes, nothing happens. Expected behavior: 5. Wizzard closes 6. Parts editor opens with newly created (blank) part. | ||||

Thank you for the hint. The element editor opens in the background, indeed. What is crazy though is that the menu bar already shows the menus for the element editor, even though the focus window is still the schematics editor. Also, when clicking into the schematics editor (so that the menu bar changes its items to the schematics menu), the windows menu does not list the element editor as open window. And right clicking on the qelectrotech icon in the Dock does not show multiple windows, either. Should I list these as separate bugs? |
