I try to provide an example, what could be a desireable end result. If more clarification is needed, please let me know. This would also add back references from / to slave, to display at the master. I'm currently hired on a project, where I'm supporting the OS community. IMO the program is almost there. I'm already misusing the xref to do something like that: the only missing part is that the master element shows my inputs as open contacts and my outputs as closed contacts. In the attached image you can see what I'm talking about. xref-io.png (51,287 bytes) |

I got inpatient and implemented this myself. It is now merged. You can consider this issue closed.(can't close it myself) |
