|Summary||0000239: Generic master/slave elements|
|Description||We have a number of elements that need to be split across several sheets. As a workaround I define them as coil/switch, but this is not ideal. I would like to have simple generic master/slave elements that I can link together. On the master element there should only appear a simple list of references to slave elements without any switch symbol.|

use case: PLC I/Os.
Have a module overview page, and one element per I/O at the appropriate location of the schematic
I try to provide an example, what could be a desireable end result.
If more clarification is needed, please let me know.
This would also add back references from / to slave, to display at the master.
I'm currently hired on a project, where I'm supporting the OS community. When my main tasks are done, I'd like to contribute (this feature) to qelectrotech.
||IMO the program is almost there. I'm already misusing the xref to do something like that: the only missing part is that the master element shows my inputs as open contacts and my outputs as closed contacts. In the attached image you can see what I'm talking about.|
I got inpatient and implemented this myself.
It is now merged. You can consider this issue closed.(can't close it myself)
