You can do it in 1 step with html directly on text. Add on html source : background-color:#0010ff (change color hexadecimal code).

You want to place free text in the diagram and want to set a background-color for the text?
Placing Text is possible ... see screenshot.
For the background-color you need to do a workaround with a colored rectangle placed behind the text. (see screenshot)

Hi all, 1st of all, thank you for the great app!

I would like to know if there is a possibility to add free annotations (labels) to the foilio, just like a title, or a simple text object.

If yes, is it possible to set the background color? This would be a question regarding the "user text" of an object as well. I can set the text color, but didn't find any possibility to set the bg color.
