Summary0000347: Home/End keys switch project sheets instead of moving text cursor during in-place text editing
DescriptionWhen editing a text field of an element directly in the drawing (in-place text editing mode), pressing the Home or End key does not move the text cursor to the beginning or end of the edited text as expected.

Instead, the application incorrectly interprets these keys as sheet navigation shortcuts and switches to the first sheet (Home) or last sheet (End) of the project.

Expected behavior:
  • Home should move the text cursor to the beginning of the current text.
  • End should move the text cursor to the end of the current text.
  • Sheet navigation shortcuts should be disabled while a text field is being edited.

Actual behavior:
  • Home switches to the first project sheet.
  • End switches to the last project sheet.
  • The text cursor position remains unchanged.

Steps To Reproduce
  1. Open a project with multiple sheets.
  2. Select an element that contains editable text.
  3. Start editing the text directly in the drawing.
  4. Press Home or End.
  5. Observe that the active sheet changes instead of the cursor moving within the text.
Additional InformationImpact: This makes text editing inconsistent with standard text-editing behavior and can be disruptive, especially in large projects where an accidental sheet change interrupts the editing workflow.
